6 months old

I can't believe Raegan is 6 months old!
She is such a happy little girl and always smiling!
She still has no teeth and we look every day!
She has learned to sit up all alone and is in the process
of trying to figure out crawling. She pulls her knees
up under her and then looks around like what's next?


It won't be long now and we will writing about her first steps.

Raegan at 5 months

This is Raegan, so precious and adorable, at 5 months. We are on our way to church with my family in Raleigh! How cute is this hat!

I love my husband!

Chris is such an amazing husband, father, and friend. I am so blessed to have him in my life and to be starting our family together.  Every day he does something to remind me of how special he is. I thank God for him and Raegan each and every day. We are best friends and I can't wait for him to get home from business in Connecticut.

 

This is our one year wedding  anniversary. We had such a special night and I love all of the memories we have together.

Wrapping Christmas Presents

 

So I feel very ahead of the game this year with my presents wrapped and under the tree. I love the way a Christmas tree looks with presents under it. It reminds me of childhood, of family, and of Santa! I just can't believe I am now the parent and we have  a little girl. I remember this time last year and Chris and thinking how crazy it would be "next year at this time we will have a baby." Now here we are with a  baby and Christmas time with our family and our memories and traditions. I love my daughter and husband and love building our family memories together. Love this little girl!

Happy Thanksgiving

Here we are on Raegan's first thanksgiving. Crazy to think it was this time last year we found out that we were expecting our first child...and now here we are with Raegan 4 and half months old. Such a blessing.

She is so adorable in her first thanksgiving outfit. I think if she could tell us, she would be thankful for her sweet potatoes. haha

I am so thankful for my husband and daughter!

Thank you to all our family and friends who came to support Raegan and Chris. This was such a special day and we are blessed to have so many who support and encourage us. Our faith is very important to us and to have the love of everyone around us keeps us going strong.

Just wanted to show my amazing brother and sister with Raegan. It was so nice to visit them in Raleigh and Raegan loves spending time with them!

4 months old, trying my rice cereal.

Raegan went to see Dr. Whitaker today for her 4 month check up and second round of shots. She weighed 13lbs 8 oz (so 13 and half pounds) and was 25 and half inches long! She also started her first rice cereal today and did not want anything to do with it. She had no idea what to do with a spoon in her mouth and she made a "yucky" face when she tasted the cereal for the first time! We will try again tomorrow and hope to get her used to the spoon and maybe by Thanksgiving we can try Sweet Potatoes! Yum.

So here are my parents, who we loving refer to as grandma and grandpa, with Raegan 16 weeks and Trevor, her cousin who will be 3 in March. I love the photo but Raegan looks a little freaked out!

Grandma and Grandpa Visit

Grandma and Grandpa Phillips came to visit so Chris and I could go to the USC vs Tenn football game! We are so lucky and blessed to have them do this for us!
